Paul has co-founded and built a number of start-ups that have gone on to become leaders in their respective industries. Some examples include NetActive (one of the leading ISP’s that listed in April 1999), Call Centre Nucleus (which grew to be the leading outsource call centre co in SA) & NetFlorist (the largest online flower and gifting business in South Africa). While at CCN, Paul put together the first National Call Centre Industry Body (SACCCOM) and was elected as its first CEO.
Paul founded and built OrtJet, an NGO that utilises 700 volunteer members to rehabilitate struggling businesses, startups and others. In 2015 – Paul founded the National Mentorship Movement, to recruit 100,000 mentors to mentor 1 million businesses and thereby add 2 million jobs to the economy over 2 years. It is currently in full swing.
Paul decided to move back into the business space full time in 2015.
Paul sits on various communal Foundations and Trusts, such as Foundation 2000, the ORT South Africa Operational Trust, etc. He is married to Yocheved and they have 3 Boys and 4 girls aged 23 to 8, and 2 grandchildren.
Yehuda has been active in the entrepreneurship support, innovation and coworking sectors for over 12 years.
Yehuda’s background in urban planning and extensive entrepreneurial activity synthesise to a focus on the big picture and getting it done. Yehuda wants to build businesses that have relevance in the markets they serve as well as to the ecosystem in which they operate. Yehuda is interested in systems of things, how magic happens when the right connections are made and how businesses grow from ideas into manifest value-adding operations through human insight, inspiration and hard work.
Leon has been actively involved in conceptualising, establishing, investing in and managing a diverse range of businesses in Southern and East Africa, the Middle East and the USA.
Leon has worked extensively in Africa within the Private and Public sector. This has resulted in the creation of many long established business relationships with prominent role players in both the public and private sector, spanning many geographic locations across Southern and Eastern Africa.
